[QUOTE="rlevis, post: 1237832, member: 81718"] MP version 1.18.0 Windows 10 32-bit MP has been working fine for a long time but without doing anything, today the HTPC can't play anything, TV or videos. This error occurs in the log... [2018-01-21 16:45:09,616] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - TSReaderPlayer: Exception while creating DShow graph Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B9559486-E1BB-45D3-A2A2-9A7AFE49B23F} failed due to the following error: 8007007e The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E). [2018-01-21 16:45:09,632] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - TSReaderPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed Full log attached. Initially MP wouldn't load at all with an exception box on the screen saying something about Direct X not installed. A reinstall of MP made no difference. At some stage the error changed to Visual C++ 2010 was not installed but it was. Uninstalled and reinstalled VC 2010 and then MP loaded fine, but couldn't play anything. MP on the screen says "Unable to play" error with AVC Codec. Googling possibilities I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the NVidia GEForce video drivers, but no difference. All videos and VT programs play fine in Windows Media Player. I assume something updated overnight but I don't know what. Tried installing 1.19.0 pre-release but no go. What can I do? [/QUOTE]
