Existing Media Portal Database (1 Viewer)

Does Moving Pictures allow you to use the data in the existing Media Portal database? I've spent the last few weeks ripping movies to the hard drive and making sure each movie is in the database, often times having to find the right cover art for a given title. I don't want to just abandon that stuff. I looked at the wiki and for about an hour in this forum, and haven't found a definitive yes-or-no answer.

I assume you mean the MyVideos movie database? Currently Moving Pictures can pull cover art from there (this should be automatic, requiring no action from you), but it can not pull data. This is something we tentatively have planned for the next major release, Moving Pictures 0.8. For the time being, all you can really do is import everything by the standard import process. Sorry.
