Expanded Stereo help please (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm using ac3 filters expanded stereo to make use of my rear speakers with the latest version of mediaportal. This works ok with tv but not at all with "my videos" avi's etc. The same settings work well with avi's in zoomplayer. I've tryed changing to waveout in the ac3 config, but no luck. I have two amped rear speakers pluged into my mobo.

Can anyone please tell me how to use expanded stereo with avi's or a better solution to use my rear speakers with tv and videos?

Could deleting some interfering codecs solve this problem? If so, which ones and how?

Any help or advice about surrond sound will be much appeciated!
