expression for snapstream files? (1 Viewer)

sorry if im posting in the wrong area. can someone give me a suggestion for a regex for snapstream files?
this is an example of the file name format. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse-(Pluto's Best)-2009-11-24-0.mpg

any ideas would be appreciated. i cant figure out what to do or if it can be imported.

The MP-TVSeries plugin uses the thetvdb.com website to find a match.

In order to search and find a match, at this moment, it will need:

• Show name
• Series number
• Episode number

Your filename indicates you are after the following show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Complete Episode List

And searching for the episode title, reveals you are after:

• Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
• Season 1
• Episode 17
• Aired on: 2006-09-09

However the MP-TVSeries plugin is unable to match episodes up based on the episode title just yet. So unless you are handy in programming and can modify the source code to add this yourself (and then help others by sharing that code to the developers so they can add it in default), you would have to rename your filenames.

The following filenames will work:

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 1x17 - Pluto's Best.mpg
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse S01E17 - Pluto's Best.mpg

You don't even need to add the episode title, because MP-TVSeries will grab that information from thetvdb.com website anyway.

You could have a look at TVRename @ tvrename.com - Automatically rename and organise your TV shows, and more. (has nothing to do with MediaPortal or MP-TVSeries plugin). I do not use it myself, so I do not know if it is capable of renaming your files based on the "Episode title", but it is worth a try.

If you are patient for v2.4, you will be in luck, because the Episode Title search ability will be added.
