sorry guys,
cause i'm german with bad english, i must write my thoughts in german, hoping that anybody in this forum can translate it correctly! It's hard enough for me to explain it in my own language; but let's try:

ich sass gerade mal wieder beim Test mit der programmierung!

Und da fällt mir ein, dass damals unter myHTPC immer wenn ich eine Sendung im EPG angewählt hatte das fenster aufging, in dem ALLE gleich-lautenden SENDUNGEN, also sowohl die Wiederholung, als auch bei Serien z.B. alle "King of Queens - mit jeweiligem Episodentitel " angezeigt wurden, die irgendwie im GESAMTEN EPG zu finden waren! Von da aus konnte man per Klick dann Alle diejenigen Sendungen direkt zur Aufnahme markieren, die man haben will!
Das hatte sowohl den tollen Vortel, dass man direkt (falls vorhanden) die Wiederholungen sehen und eben auswählen kann! In MP ist das echt ein bischen komplizierter, ich kann immer nur durch die EPG-Anzeige scrollen und manuell NACHLESEN, ob irgendwo eine wiederholung kommt!

Ich habe (mit meinem beschränktem Englisch) bisher noch kein solches FeatureRequest gelesen, weiss ehrlich gesagt auch nicht, wie man das in englisch vernünftig ausdrücken kann, damit das überhaupt verstanden wird!

Ich hoffe, jemand von euch kann das mal in vertändlicher Form in englisch nachfragen!

Leider hab ich vor längerer Zeit schon myHTPC vom Compi runtergeschmissen, nur noch MP, so kann ich auch kein Bild mehr von dieser Funktion machen!

This is definitely a good request!!

The request in english (not translated word by word ):

EPG: list shows of the same name
================================

In myHTPC, you had the following nifty feature:
* in EPG you could select a tv-show and with a popup search the EPG buffer for all tv-shows having the same name!

This is useful in two situations:
* you want to record all shows of specific series (all "King of Queens" episodes that are running the next
few weeks).
* you want to see if a specific show is re-scheduled in the next few days.

This is not an easy task to do in MP...
How about improving it?

For anybody who has used a TiVo this is the "Upcoming Episodes" list while you are viewing a show or a seasons pass.

when you schedule a recording in MP you can allready select if you want to record it always on this channel, always on every channel etc.
MP will figure out what to record then.

Yes, but it would be nice to know if a episode is going to record because it could conlfict with another recording. Actually this brings up the concept of recording priorites which is something I'd like to see in MP. I'm acutally thinking of doing coding myself.
