The old advanced recordings work. Just not the ones that are set after installing this version. Try to set a new one, as I suggested earlier.

Sorry, I don't have them anymore, but they really didn't say anything useful, what I could see. I have gone back to RC3 TVserver and TVplugin. I tried to compile RC4 since it's not out yet, but I didn't succeed with the tvplugin.

Have you tried to make a new advanced recording?

I've reworked some code of the smartscheduler and also there were some bugs in the latest SVN of MP with the scheduler - so this could fix your problems - otherwise please post logs - i can then check at which lines of code it stops to work.

Is there any way that the movie db cleanup could be automatic when you enter my recordings, and if it finds that recordings are missing, a dialog asks if they shall be removed?

I guess that whould be done by a "Process plugin". I'm currently not into the plugin programming of mediaportal but I will have a look into that if I have some time...

I now created a small "process plugin" that automatically cleans the movie db on every MediaPortal startup (but no GUI). The full thread is here:

Hey Disaster123 - I have a small modification/patch that lets you choose to only use the Basic Home - i.e. no matter how many times you press the home button, you only get the Basic Home, not the normal Home.

Are you interested in adding it to your version?

I haven't yet added a separate tickbox to enable the feature - I simply use the "Start With Basic Home" option. if checked, then the normal home is disabled.

Edit: ok i've added the configuration setting, but have it at the bottom of the list (as there was a warning about indexes in the code!)
