Stefan: i allready applied RC1 as fresh install, would love to stick with the disaster updates. Any chance on a sort of disaster edition svn again?

Start the installer, till you selected all the options, but don't install yet. (<-- not so sure about this)
Now go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp and search for package-tvengine.exe and package-mediaportal.exe. Copy them to another folder.
Now exit the original installer and start package-mediaportal.exe and after that package-tvengine.exe.

Hi Disaster123 could you please consider making a new build? The ATI flickering hack has finally been removed which will greatly reduce hardware requirements for 1080i HDTV. I have had nothing but problems the last year with deinterlacing because of this hack and would love to have my old mediaportal back. I am asking you because it doesn't look like weekly svn builds are being released anymore.

Yes this is true but there a lot of problems in the current SVN (i'm using it here). Sometimes only black screen when trying to play something, then recordings sometimes never ends. error.log full of EPG SQL errors, ... so it doesn't make sense to make a new build.

hi anyone in this thread help with a fix to this problem


i have 2 screens running i have always had mp running in full screen mode on my second screen so i can watch tv and use the other screen for surfing the net and such
but with the latest release of mp if i run mp in full screen and try to use the other monitor mp keeps minimizing to the task bar
i have looked and cant see a setting that has change from the older version that would cause this behavior
hope some one can help with this problem

I understand disaster thanks for your time. Your builds are awesome so I will just wait until it all gets sorted out.
