How do i use it?

Share entry --> The share name or the share path ("abc" or "\\htpc\etc..")
Host entry --> Is this the Client who uses the share or the Host himself?
User entry --> Which user? The user on the host or on the client who connection to the share?

Without entry all available shares are monitoring?

Hi Chris,

here some information.

Share entry --> the share name f.e. C:\VIDEO and your sharename is MOVIES you must fill in MOVIES
Host entry --> the Client who uses the share
User entry --> if the share is password protected the user who connects to the share

If you leave an entry empty it is like *. So if the client and the user doesn't matter you can for example only fill on the sharename.

PS: I'll release a new beta this evening - also with VS2008 and new DirectX filters but WITHOUT the Winsock 2 Socket support - there are some problems with it and i think i'll going to remove it completely from my releases :-(

No one field MUST be provided. I only provide the sharenames.

Which language do you use? Not all languages are translated. So select 4:3 Pan and scan and look what happen while watching TV and swith to this mode

Especially the features ;
- includes Non-Linear (Smart) Stretching of 4:3->16:9 patch from ol263
- includes NEW recording Option weekly everytime on channel X
are big, essential missing features for the MP 1.0 version in my opinion!

Now, the most important thing is to get this code into the official MP version!
Do you have contact with one of the devs about this?

And for the suggestions...I have some, but I don't know if this is your cup of tea. It is more general for MP:
One thing I would LOVE to see (and I don't think it is that much of a hastle) is to be able to add recordings to playlists directly from the tv section. So an "Add to playlist" option for the recordings under the "i"-button on your MCE-remote and a "current playlist" button on the main tv screen.

A working 'Priorities' section would also be nice, so people can manage their planned recordings again. The devs say they 'forgot' to update that section for the 1.0 version so it doesn't work anymore...

The part in MP to add webstreams to the tv-channels has also been half finished and on hold for almost 2 years now (only finished for radio webstreams), but I think they stopped working on / forgot about that great feature too...
