i don't reallly know if this latest version is the problem but after installing it (26.01.2009) i can't play videos xvid, mkv, dx50...
anyone have similar problem ?
Just tried this version for the first time - seems quite good so far (and an improvement over standard MP 1.0)
A couple of comments:
1. I found that the auto refresh rate changer wouldn't work for MKV files (detected refresh rate was '0' in the log files). Replacing the 'mediaInfo.dll' with a more recent version (0.7.10) from MediaInfo fixed the problem.
2. When playing video files, the OSD info screen shows icons to indicate the video/audio stream types e.g. AC3, MP3, AAC etc. This is a good idea, but on a 1920 x 1080 screen they are almost too small to read across a room - resizable text might be better. Also some of these logos are copyright trademarks e.g. Dolby Digital, AAC - as this is free, open source software I think we need to be careful about using commercial logos/trademarks in MP.

thanks for your reply - both problems you mentioned are "normal" problems of the actual SVNs which should be fixed by the MP devs. So please post both issues in the actual normal SVN thread.
i'll try this one in english... i want to integrate your "recording stuff" into my "normal" MP. I think you do a great job, but i won't need so much functions, so don't be upset, that i won't use your version. but my databases, configurations and the known WAF ...
which ddl's do i need to integrate the recording things? just tell me and then i will tell you if i were succesfull
