Tourettes I think Get Well only meant to appreciate the progress we have made with MPEI and the hope that one day MP will be more accessible and user friendly. I myself do not have an HTPC in my living room and never will. Once I have set up MP, which I agree is still complex, I spend less time maintaining it than I do on Windows! Most 'normal' people as you call them cannot set up their own PC or configure Windows, drivers, etc. either, but I don't think I would call Windows a hobby! MP is not a hobby for me, it is an essential part of my life/entertainment. I use it many hours daily. I love trying new plugins and skins, and the only problem I have is figuring out the compatibility between them and MP. So any tool that aids this gets my vote. Remember a few years ago when everyone said there was no way to make the installation of MP easy? Now we have the Deploy tool (installer), which it took two years to convince everyone could be done, and installation is much, much easier and causes many less problems. So let's look to the future, because I don't think Microsoft is wasting their money on Windows Media Center just for hobbyists.
