Hi,

does anyone have the heart and knowledge to make a telnet type control server for MP?? I'd do it myself but I suck at programming sockets so...

Basically what I need is a process plugin with which I can send control messages such as Jump To, Play, Stop etc etc, and also getting some feedback like currently playing info, tv record status etc.

You can already do this - its been implemented in MPW and will soon be in MP itself.

There's a web service in MPW that allows you to access all that and more, or if you want to do some .NET programming, you can use the ECP2Assembly.dll file to access MP functions and properties.
