It would be verry nice to be able to configure the external player on a file/disc type basis.

I would realy like to be able to configure an diffrent player of HDDVD/BluRay Rips/Discs and DVD Rips/Discs than TV recordings or other downloaded videofiles.

Yes, brother... I was thinking the same thing.. Those devs are falling asleep at the wheel.. you request should be an easy thing for them to add.
