    Hi,

    I have 2 PC's

    1 Mediaportal
    1 desktop pc

If I see some weird ID3 tags in my Mediaportal machine I update them from my pc.

But even after a rescan, MP does not commit the new ID3 tags on mp3's

music watcher is turned on and new mp3's are added to the database, only changes are not. The old value's of the changed mp3's are still in the database.

hmm, there must be something wrong at your side.
even if music share watcher would have a bug, you should see the changed tags latest after a rescan.

which tags are you talking about?

Could it be that you changed ID3v1 tags though ID3v2 tags are present? I used foobar2000 to update my tags and the changes never came through in MP. I later realised that foobar had only updated the v1 tags and didn't indicate that v2 tags were present.
