Hi All,

As the tile says I'm a complete newbie at this, so please bear with me:D

I was using Vista Media Centre, but have heard that MediaPortal is by far better, so i installed it...but I cannot get any TV channels, my location is not in the list. It said something about editing an XML file to put my location in.

I had a look in "tuningparameters\dvbt.xml" but i really did not understand what i had to enter in there, If i have to edit that file, how do i get the TV channel info to put it in.

I am using an AverMedia 777 Tuner card, with Vista Ultimate.

cheers

There's lots of documentation in the MediaPortal Wiki and in these forums - don't forget to use the "search" facility in the forums.

Also, please feel free to ask questions in these forums - there are heaps of people very willing to assist. But remember, the more information you provide with a query, the more likely you are to get a useful reply ... ;)
