The challenge for you is to find what the frame-dropping is correlated with.If I were you I'd be using Windows Task Manager, Windows Resource Monitor, CPU-Z, NVIDIA software, LatencyMon etc. etc. etc. to check whether the frame drops correlate with CPU peaking, power saving, thermal throttling, DPC latency issues, GPU peaking, disk and/or network activity etc. etc. etc.. In fact, the very first thing I'd do would be to copy the file to a local disk/folder to remove the network from the equation.
