I am hoping that there will be a similar GUI for choosing Fan Art as in MPTV-Series.

Along those lines, I find cycling posters, as it is now, quite annoying. I would like to suggest being able to use the same interface as well for selecting from among several posters/covers that I might have. That way, the plugin would scan my posters folder and display all graphic files for that movie in icon, list or filmstrip views, as well as import from a local drive if I have a more acceptable or custom poster/cover.

Switching between poster and fan art views could be a simple cycle button.

    pleeeeeeze?

    regards,

    Chuck

    Thanx for the feedback.

I did know about that issue in the tracker for Fan Art. I'm just hopeful that it is designed along the lines of the MPTV-Series' chooser, which works, looks nice, and being first, sort of sets a design precedence. One thing I would dislike is when going to the various sections in the MediaPortal GUI, that each section is so unique in its design and operation that the consistency of the whole look and feel falls apart, that it no longer is MediaPortal, but just a collection of disconnected features.

I also only wanted to suggest that blending a poster/cover art chooser into the same interface would be nice. MyVideo, in its config section, shows a list of possible posters/covers which you have to choose from - or select one from somewhere else manually. It would be nice to have a full graphical display of the available poster art.

    Regards,

    Chuck
