Hi,

I tried to add 800+ xmas cd's at once (about 100 GB).
The fanart plugin 2.3.1.531 did not like that at all.
It crashed with SQL errors, making MP 1.3.0 beta unusable.

I fixed this by removing the new folders from my share and "clearing" ALL fanart + remove database.
Is there any way that I can "exclude" certain folders from the fanart scanner?

Would love to listen to "some" xmas songs these days :)

Keep up the good work!

Happy holidays!

I always keep my plugins at the latest "known" version....

I run "MediaPortal Extension Installer" at a regular interval.

I had no idea there was a new version (beta) available.
Maybe you guys can include a "also search for betas" option in that application?

Would love to try, but am affraid ill be installing MP again at xmas... lol
Need to think about this for a few minutes.....

Thx for the tip.[DOUBLEPOST=1356259411][/DOUBLEPOST]One small step, one giant leap for mankind......

Step 1: remove old fanart handler, installing newest as suggested,
Step 2: check if all still works.
Step 3: add the 800+ folders again
Step 4: check again if still works (if not provide error logs)

Ill keep you posted..... going step 1 now

I was wondering that too - why isn't 3.0 showing up in the extension installer? Quite confusing when installing a new MP 1.3b system....
