fanart handler not scraping music artist (1 Viewer)

hi there sorry if this is a dumb question. I've just rebuilt my pc and now fanart handler does not seem to scrape my artists? when i go into configurator it says 752 artists 752 without fanart. am i doing something stupid here? its worked fine before with me and the albums are scraping fine. ive not changed any settings...

ok wierd it seems now that if i play the music in now playing it forces that one artist to get scraped. not sure i want to do this for all my artists [DOUBLEPOST=1370935578][/DOUBLEPOST]also if i turn the scraper on manually from the conifgurator it doesnt seem to start

Just uninstalled fanart and deleted its databases from the program data folder. I ahd tried to reinstall it before but got an error about the databases still same problem. It finds the names but does not find the pictures for artists?

looks like htbackdrops.com is down has been for a while now

Omg. So all af that fussing for nothing! Wonder how its getting te artist fanarts then when I play music then...anyway ill keep an eye on the provider and fingers crossed that will sort it out. Probably broken it now though!

it stores the music fanart it already has in the MP thumbs folder, so I'm guessing it can automatically rescan this folder, so you just seeing previously scraped fanart.

Same problem. It looks seem down the htbackdrom page ......it´s a lot of time down....

Ill delete the mp thumbs folder see if I can get it to rescan. Also is there a way to get it to display random fanart? And is the website still down?

If you delete the mp thumbs folder, and htbackdrops is gone for good then you will lose all your music fanart.

hahah yes it is what i did yesterday with the new realease 1.4.0, i thought to start with a clean installation of all mediaportal stuff, lol maybe it was not so good idea, i hope htbackdrops site will return online soon
