"Fanart Scraping" all the time - normal? (1 Viewer)

I dont remember seeing this on my old pc, so not sure its normal.

On my new PC every time I launch MP or wake from sleep it shows Fanart Scraping and takes ages to get to 100% - many many minutes.

It does this every time. I thought it would need to do it once, and then thats it - but seems its doing a full "scrape" each time.

Do you have any logfiles available?

Just went to get some log files, and realised the issue seems to have solved itself.
I did remove all the fanart related files and reinstall a day or two ago - so that may have sorted it

If you removed all fanart, it takes a long while to recache all fanart that it needs. It may occur in the future again when MP encounters music, films, etc. it has not "seen" yet.

I only removed it all to try and resolve the issue - and it seems to have worked
