Feature request: Give us back the old recording scheduler! (1 Viewer)

Another option is to use PVR Scheduler - it gives you the ability (from within MediaPortal) to select the exact start and stop times that you wish for any scheduled recording (the way that MediaPortal used to be?).

Plus, you get the benefits of waking your PC and then hibernating, suspending or shutting the PC down after the recording.

Plus, it will schedule your EPG grabber.

Plus, it will launch and kill MediaPortal if you have problems with your BDA drivers after a resume from hibernate or standby.

But, at the moment, it doesn't correctly handle repeat (same time each week, etc) recordings of the same program - slight bug, I think....

Yes, setting a manual recording is not very comfortable rigth now.
The "old" one or kind of that should be a good one.
Even setting a manual recording with pvr-scheduler is more handy, but this should be also done within MP.

EPG recording it´s to prefe..

But some time there is delay of som reason and the epg dont see this...
Then it´s handy to make a manuelly recording..

Finer granularity in scheduling would be great. Another thing that I noticed is that you cannot change the default pre and post record settings for a manual recording (at least, I couldn't find this in the settings option in the context menu). This is an especially big problem.

Why not havt the option to put in time value by the remote??

This function can be find in simle vcr....

With a computer in the background !! It cant be any big thrill...
