Feature request: hourglass cursor on long processes (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Good user interaction requires an immediate interface feedback to show the user his action is taken into account.
When actions take a long time, MP should show a king of "processing" icon or animation. This could apply for:
- displaying media directories or view when they contain many items or when it takes long to access media (NAS resuming from standby, ftp shares, networks shares)
- tuning to a channel in TV module

and more generally any action that does not refreshes display so the user my think MP has crashed [once more...]

I don't know if my request was taken into account.
But I am experiencing an everlasting MP hourglass (ramdomly when I browse my music (which is located on a NAS).
I cannot find the way to reproduce this behaviour. But once it is there, changing activity does not removes it. The only way to get rid of it is to restart MP.

Would it be possible to add some code to remove the hourglass when changing screen in MP (at least until we find how this happens) ?
