Sorry for posting here, but i couldn´t find a proper forum for this request...
What I would really like to see on the client side of MP is the possibillity tp create custom TV groups for the client computers.
Example.
You have a TV-server and use several clients:
It would be usefull to make so that computer A can only view cartoon channels (or other specific channels), and that computer B has access to all channels.
This would enable us to have controll over which channels our children have access to from their MP client installation.
Also if possible to set a specific time frame/amount of time that our children can watch TV or the ability to enter a PIN code so that all channels can be watched.

This isn't something you are likely to ever see with MP1. The current system has no concept of client level access, a client is either connected or it isn't, that's about it.

However, various aspect of client level controls or user controls have been discussed for MP2. I don't know what the current thinking is in this regard, but I know it is on the table for some point. You should have a good look about on the MP2 part of the forums or in the Wiki for more information. And just to note, MP2 is quite a long time away from it's initial public release. A lot of the more advanced features the developers would like to add will not appear for quite some time after that. There is only so much can be done in the developers free time
