Dear MediaPortal team,
I want to configure the MediaPortal with wide 50" (or more) LCD TV as presentation computer, to use supported features as MyTV, Radio... The problem is that, MediaPortal can not open files (over some plugin for explore files, for example File Explorer) which extensions are not supported by MediaPortal or any included external player. I need to set up a new external "player" - program and configure MediaPortal to open files with extension (for example .dwg) over program which is installed in computer (for example DWG TrueView).
I have tried plugin MyPrograms, but I found out that the only way is to choose program at first and then choose the file. Is there any other way? Maybe something that works like file explorer: You choose file first and open it with default application for that type of file. I need it for people with not much a computer skill so it should be very user friendly
