Just wondering if anyone can help me with a slight issue I am having.

I use the moving pictures plug in and its fantastic, new movies being automatically added. However, in almost all cases, the 'file info' (video and audio information) is missing meaning I have to go into the config to manually add these.

Is there a tool that I can use or a setting where the file info is automatically picked up and added?

Thanks.

MovingPictures does this automatic during import, unless you specifically disabled the "Obtain mediainfo during import" setting (it's under the gear icon inside the importer tab in MovPic config). However, media methods and formats are constantly updated as well as mistakes are found in the way MediaInfo reads them. So be sure to update the MediaInfo.DLL that MediaPortal and MovingPictures uses.

Download MediaInfo DLL 32-bit standalone without installer (Yes, you need 32-bit, even on a 64-bit OS, because MediaPortal is 32-bit)

Unzip the file, and use the MediaInfo.DLL inside of it to overwrite the version that resides in your MediaPortal program root folder (where you can find mediaportal.exe as well).

Many thanks, I will check that setting.

Almost all (if not all of them) end up with '0' or are left in the file info video and audio details boxes in the config.

And I assume if I copy that dll file you posted, it wont affect any I have manually updated previously?
