***UPDATE***after wiping the SSD and reinstalling windows and MP, the problem was still there. after taking a closer looking at TVseries, under the general tap, in the database section (Top right), i clicked on "Empty", then clicked "Import" and let it do it's thing. when i restarted MP, everything was back to normal got one last thing to sort out. when a program finishes, a blue screen (not BSOD) appears. but as soon as i navigate anywhere, the screen comes back to normal.
