IMDb really did a number on their 'improved search system'. At this point I will need some technical debugging assistance to solve it (or for @Merlyn to return :D). This can be achieved by providing me MovPic scraper-debug enabled log files, or for the time being by manually doing the step the scraper-script takes. "Some Movie Title Example (2012).avi" is first turned into http://akas.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=Some%20Movie%20Title%20Example+(2012) and when no results are found (with v1.1.1) into: http://akas.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=Some%20Movie%20Title%20Example Moving-Pictures cleans up filenames by turning (dots) into spaces and stripping a lot of additional non-title related parts away as well via the advanced 'Noise Filter' setting. Keep in mind to just use the "clean" title to search manually at IMDb website. If you are unsure, look at the movingpictures.log file, or use MovPic config and click on the binocular icon to see what title MovPic ended up with from your filename. Everything works fine for me testing it on a USA internet connection, so IMDb must be doing some additional "improvements" that break things for everybody. Could be as silly as that the English "aka" text-string is translated into German automatic, due to it detecting your IP location. If any of you get a result by creating a manual title search as shown above, then please reply to me with that full link you used as well as the HTML source results the IMDb website provides you. Use www.paste2.org or an alike website to give that to me.
