I did set up a MediaPortal PC for a friend of mine who is using DVB-S for TV. I use DVB-C and am happy with the Digital Everywhere Floppy DVB-C. As the Floppy DTV DVB-S got replaced with the DVB-S2 we orded a DVB-S2 one.

I wanted to set up the TV with the TV Engine 2 and then first got the message that no TV Card was found. Then I added this:
Code:
<capturecard commercialname="FireDTV DVB-S2" capturename="FireDTV BDA Receiver DVBS2" devid="digital_everywhere&firedtv_s2">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBS Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="tunerdevice"     name="FireDTV BDA Tuner DVBS2"         checkdevice="true"/>
<filter cat="capture"         name="FireDTV BDA Receiver DVBS2"      checkdevice="true"/>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice"	sinkpin="0"/>
<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice"     sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture"		sinkpin="0"/>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>
to the capture cards.
The TV device was now found in configuration but then I get the follwing error:

This is really bad... I hope there is a way to get the Floppy DTV DVB-S2 working with TV Engine 2. My friend does not need HDTV since he has got an old PAL TV screen.
Anyone got an idea how I could make this working with TV Engine 2?

DVB-S2 support is in TVServer only

Still does not explain why the graph did not build is one of the filter names wrong in your xml?
Is there a space after the tuner filter?

There is no space - here's what I get in Graphedit:

Does
DVB-S2 support is in TVServer only
mean, that the Floppy DTV DVB-S2 will never work in TV Engine 2, even if I only wanted to watch DVB-S channels?
That would really be too bad, since the DVB-S got replaced by the DVB-S2.
The PC only got 512MByte Ram. The SQL Server and TV Service would eat up some more memory and starting SQL Server Service and TV Service slows down the Start up time.
