FireDTV S2, Viasat HD and Mediaportal solution (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

I don't know if this has been mentioned before in this forum, but i could not find a solution.

I have a FireDTV S2 receiver and was unable to find any of the Viasat HD channes when i scanned for channels in the TV server. I was in total panic and i even WASHED my dish

Finally I then replaced these values in 5.0 sirius.ini file (My localtion of the file is C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters):

59=12169,V,27500,34,S2
61=12207,V,27500,34,S2

with these values:

59=12399,V,27500,8psk,2/3,on,0.35
61=12437,V,27500,8psk,2/3,on,0.35

And then the channels appeared on the channellist. Maybe this can help someone else with the same problem.

I had that same problem, and made the suggested change, and now MP found the following channels:
Viasat Sport HD
NatGeo HD
TV 2 Sport HD
TV1000 HD
SVT HD

The problem is that I can't get them to work proper - I most often get the subtiles, and sometimes sound, but never the picture!

Anyone have any experience? (I have tried various codecs, but tend to use CyberLink H.264 (PDVD8)

Edit: When I use the 'Preview' function on the sever (I run multi-seat) I quickly get an 'empty' preview window - but ok sound! (other channels normally have picture)
