Hello everyone.
This isn't directly related to the issue discussed, but I noticed some people were looking for a recording splitter, and I'd personally recommend TSDoctor: Cypheros TS-Doctor Video Editor and Konverter
It's commercial software but there is a trial option. It can do pretty much every thing you can imagine with TS files and if you find something it cannot, the developers are usually very reactive in the forums.
About the subject of this thread, it can for instance extract teletext subtitles to SRT with positioning and even colours (if I'm not mistaken MP always displays Teletext subs in white).
