Right, I'm setting up MP and a DB for all my couch potato needs

I want some way of controlling all of this wirelessly on a touch screen

my 1. is a ipad using VNC remote desktoping into the HTPC
2. "apad" with windows 7 and remoting
3. using a 7 inch touch screen monitor? dunno how that would work

I'm planning on using the ipad I've tested it with logmein and it works great but not with VNC which should actually be better

ideally I'd like a custom app for the ipad for this - I'm in that game work wise so might get one commissioned

Anyway looking for advise and experience here folks!

there is also an RDP app for Remotedesktop for the iphone/ipad. Works great in my network.

However, if you are talking about Remote controlling of MP you should use the iPimp plugin for MP....

Nah not interested in using ipimp... I like having a vm on my ipad - also want to have a secondary controller for my missus cus she wont be able to figure out the ipad lol

I have been playing with another solution to control MP with the iPad. It is a very slick app that works with the ipod and ipad called Irule

It gives you the ability to use it iPad as a remote for all of your equipment. So far I have only been able to get a few of the buttons to work. I am sill working through the setup to see if I can get everything working.

Not sure if anyone has gotten everything to work on not. If any one has any experience with iRule I would like to know if you have it working 100%.
