Could you please try the attached Tsreader (i again highered the value - also in the last version the error logging wasn't correct)?

Please provide .patch as well. Also it might be better to handle that improvement in a separate thread since people will get really confused when testing the patch when there are multiple versions of the binary floating around (we cannot rely on the test results as all).

Windows 7 client, Server 2008R2 as server ( i know this is not supported, but it also happened when i was running windows 7 as my server)

main problem would be that the tsreader includes THIS patch and is not usable without the other binaries also at least for me i've this problem 1st seen on my clients since this patch.

Then pelase provide only the .patch and it will be integrated to the oiginal patch (if it is agood and working addition for others as well). But having multiple sourced binaries will make people just confused. We really cannot tell what people have been testing when they report how the patch is working.

OK - then i think it would be best that i test together with mylle via PM and when we got it working i'll provide a .patch. (binaries at the old posts removed)

I'm sure this isn't nic related but i have an onboard nvidia nic. Attached you'll find a new TsReader file which you could test. It already includes V2 of the patch AND some mod by me which can probaply solve the issue. Please Test!

Your paths to the timeshifting files look kind of weird:

open file \\SERVER\Timeshifting\live4-0.ts.tsbuffer6.ts

(or is it just weird logging?)

Its an UNC path to the share i use for timeshift files on my server (the server name is server).

Hi guys,

Just some feedback (probably useless feedback - but hey...)

I have a Zotac ION2 client running Windows7, connected over wired EOP sockets to my main htpc, also running Windows 7 (which uses a RAM drive for timeshift). The client uses a SSD for the OS and MePo files.

It "just" works when using RTSP (very sensitive to anything causing it to stutter), but suffers from bad stuttering when using UNC.

I tried just the tsreader patch from above (thanks Disaster123 & Miroslav22 - which is now removed), on my client (keeping the server unpatched - naughty naughty I know). The client can now handle UNC ok.

I am a little tied with binaries/patches as my client is running a custom build done by Miroslav22 and DJBlu for Sky enhancements (MP 1.2A release). I need to check if their release had any tsreader changes in it.

I use UNC as well, but what I meant was this part:
