    Newly build system to accommodate the three cards.

    When I press pause button I get the pause sound but no actual pause on both the HID keyboard and the remote

    I've gotten it to work once on keyboard but now it's stopped working

    there's nothing I can see in any log for pause

    Mediaportal config -> remotes and input devices

    hid -> use generic HID tick
    mce -> use mce tick
    media -> use media keys tick

    This doesn't work removing the

    mce -> use mce tick
    media -> use media keys tick

    Fixes it. Which on careful RTFM says it should. http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...iaPortal_Configuration/8_Remote/11_MCE_Remote says the MCE remote/media keys are deprecated. Not the Main HID page.

    Sorry for being an idiot - but after building the unit etc my brain was gone. (ME/CFS will do that) Can i suggest that the notice:

    This handler is deprecated please use HID instead.

    be included in the config program as well as the manual?
