i was wondering about some error messages in MP log for example:

2008-10-17 19:20:36.265625 [ERROR][MPMain]: No translation found for id 102345

or

it means there is no translation in the strings_en.xml or string_de.xml in the language folder.

i found lots more missing translations in both files, for example "My TV Series, TV Recording, Yahoo Music Videos....

here is the fixed strings_de.xml and strings_en.xml file, copy it to the language folder in MP directory.

Now also "Shoutcast" will be displayed on external Display.

I also have a couple of strings not found. Still have to figure out what plugin is causing these:

2008-10-10 23:20:44.390625 [ERROR][MPMain]: No translation found for id 188884
2008-10-10 16:19:46.609375 [ERROR][MPMain]: No translation found for id 196742

just a quick test and it seems like it's moving pictures that's causing these.

ID 196742 is Moving Picture

you can find out, what plugins the 188883 and 188884 are?

Is there any List with all available Plugins and there ID´s???

Just got informed that strings_xx.xml are only for MediaPortal stuff,
so the above changes won't be included in SVN
(every 3rd party like plugin should have it's own strings_xx files).

Ok i understand,

but why is, for example "Yahoo Music Videos Plugin", overwriting the original MP strings_en.xml with a new one that includes Language for this plugin?

so is it not conformal, or?
