Flickering MyTV on CRT TV using s-video (1 Viewer)

I have installed a Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-T and Im running RC 2 from december. TV works fine on the computer monitor but when I run MP on my crt-tv I cant watch TV because of flickering image/decoding problems. Its only TV that doesnt work, MyVideos work just fine. Does anyone know anything about this? Im using a ATI Radeon X300 128 and S-video to SCART.

I had the same problem as you described, flickering image on my CRT TV when watching Live TV. My HTPC is connected with S-Video to Scart aswell.

After trying alot of settings in the MediaPortal (0.2 RC2) setup tool I noticed enabling the setting "use Exclusive DirectX Mode for fullscreen tv/video" (found in General settings near the end) solved this problem for me.

OK tried that but the result was that when I start playing video or tv, the fullscreen Media Portal moves and the video starts playing fullscreen on my monitor instead... Why is this?
