Floppy DTV (1 Viewer)

Hi all.

I been having some problems for a while with my Floppy DTV card with TDC cam and Selector card.

I seems to loose the encoded chanals and i have to remove the cam and insert it again to get them back.

I send a mail to Digitaleverywhere the fabricate the card and the told me to install the FireDTV viewer and check if the problems also was there.

I seems to be a MP problem as i have the chanals ind the FireDTV viewer when the are gone in MP.

Has anybody had the same problem and found a solution for the problem?

I have 0.2.3.0 RC2 installed but not the TVE3 installed.

can you please check if you are using the latest Firmware and drivers for the floppydtv?
also please check if there is a firmwareupdate for your CAM available.

the last time i had someting simmilar, it was caused by an bug in the CAM firmware.

Hi.

When i thinking about it i propperly only have the new firmware on the card, dont think i have updated the cam. Will check it out when i am home later today.

Hi all.

I have been having a similar problem as Rebreather, with my Floppy DTV tuner with viaccess cam and a card from TDC.

At first I had no problems, but suddenly I lost 2 of my encrypted channels (freezes or black screen).
I can see the channels in the FireDTV viewer.
I have the latest firmware and drivers.
Has anybody had the same problem, or an idea what the problem can be?

Hi Nip.

I was in contact with digital everywhere. The told me that i need to have the CI module softwhare running.
I was installing the new drivers, made sure i had the CI was running when i start my HTPC. I did not see the problem since and really hope i will stay like this.
