Hi all,
Firstly, I'd like to congratulate everyone on their continued work on developing Mediaportal. It's an amazing application that's working unbelieveably well for me.
I do have one last "issue" that I'd like to overcome though. I use an RME soundcard to output mutli channel analogue audio. Currently this is going into a recievers pre-ins and then from the recievers pre-outs to a power amp. I'm looking to remove the reciever from the chain altogether but, unfortunately, it's not that easy as currently the reciever is controlling the volume. RME soundcards have their own mixer which MediaPortal (and windows) can't control. I've tried using Girder and a couple of Macro utilities but without much success.
One solution that I'd be happy with is to focus the RME mixer with a shortcut key combination, use that to control the volume and then be able to move back to MediaPortal. When I've tried to do this using Macros MediaPortal never seems to get focus back correctly.
I've searched the plug-ins repository and this forum (as well as other forums) but I haven't been able to find what I'm after.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Conrad
