Font Size issue with StreamedMP Skin (1 Viewer)

I posted this over on AVS Forums as well, but have had no luck with an answer.

Maybe another Vista new to me issue. I was messing with the DPI (I think that is right) to make my browser mroe readable at 9 ft, anyway once I got MP installed I am having some slight issues with the way it looks. I tried changing back to the standard 96dpi and even reloaded the Streamed skin to no avail.

You can't see the entire text when you select movies or tv, it just says "WATCH YOUR". Also, my weather icon up top is blank.

Please take a look and let me know what you think

Try deleting the font & texture cache after reverting back to 96DPI.

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache\<skin name> on Vista, not sure what it was on XP.

I can get as far as C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\Media Portal but I do not see a file named cache either in this directory or in the skins directory. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

As a follow up though I'm not sure if this will get seen as this has nothing to do with the font size.....

Some screens I have seen of media portal have a "BD HD-DVD" channel on the home page. Did I miss something in config or is there a plug in I need?

StreamedMP comes with a basichome editor called StreamedMP_editor. Look for it in the skins/streamedmp directory, it's an executable. Use it to add/remove buttons from your basichome screen. If you add the BD HD-DVD button then you have to modify the generated basichome.xml and change the button's <hyperlink> to the ID of your HD_starter plug-in, which you can get from the HD_starter plug-in's configuration.

I already posted this issue over at the Google Code site and it's just been set to WontFix status. Anyhow, the fix is rather simple. See my comments in here: Issue 48 - streamedmp - Google Code

looks like, to me at least, that the font issue affects all of the skin. When I go to the watch movies with moving pictures plug-in, all of the text seems too big, even the smallest movie titles have to scroll to see the name.

Also, some movies (hancock) don't have a background.

And, when selecting a movie the player auto mounts it then asks, "Auto-Play Yes/No" Is there any way to just play it without dealing with that auto-play choice?

Three small issues, maybe an easy fix, maybe not. Any help would be appreciated. If there is a better place to look for answers outside of the search here please let me know. I think my questions are almost too basic.... :-(

Delete C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache\<skin name> (Unhide folders and files hiddens).

Set the fontsize to the smallest (100%) on your screen configuration.

    Start MediaPortal again.

If you want, you can set the fontsize the windows font size to your prefer size again. This works for me.
