For The Record problem and more! (1 Viewer)

Having spent a few days ditching Window MC and installing MP 1.1.0 I have it all working and am at the fine tuning stage!

I tried to install For The Record, but the MySQL credentials don't work. I did a standard install of MP and I tried root and MediaPortal as the password... no go... I haven't changed anything...

Also, I was going to use my Harmony 555 (it works, and is set as a MCE remote) but it doesn't seem intuitive and I keep going back to the keyboard - does anyone have a Harmony keymap I could use?

One last thing for now - when I press ok it brings up the mini EPG - anyway to get it to bring up the full EPG over the top of the tv programme instead?

Have you tried admin or mediaportal as the username.... I've found the default password is MediaPortal tho.

Also if your using FTR and have problems with the DB maybe this is a good op to change to ms sql express? It does yield better performance when using FTR, FTR will make most use of the DB so makes sense?

I got it working in the end, but I have since ditched FTR - I use the miroslav22 Sky settings, and they work brilliantly with a proper series link!
