[QUOTE="rconstantine, post: 796596, member: 115821"] I hope I'm missing something here and someone can just point me in the right direction. I'm new to MP, and so I first populated the built-in videos database using the built-in IMDB lookup options. It was very easy to use. I found that using the filenames my DVD ripper used was a bad idea. I renamed them to better accommodate the scraper. I have been able to find and download images and data for all but a few movies. However, that has not been the case with the scrapers for moving pictures. I'm having some serious WTF moments. Many, not just a few movies, have had completely wrong data downloaded and I don't see how to fix it. Where is the option to select from a list of choices for a given movie or to force using a particular IMDB number or to force using tmdb instead? I'm stumped. For example, I have a file called ISLAND.iso for the 2005 movie "The Island". I was not given an option to select this movie at all. Also, is there a way to edit the data including the images, like there is for the standard my videos data? Also, would it not be a good idea to use the data that the standard video plugin collected as a primary source? Lastly, why limit the choice of posters to 3? Many of the best posters are missed in this case. i typically look for ones without all of the fine print. The standard scraper for the standard video plugin lets you select from all images available. couldn't some of this functionality be reused? Sorry if I'm coming off as demanding. i don't mean to be and believe me, i have contributed to community efforts like this one so i know what that means.:thx: BTW, I do know about the binolcular button. The above is regarding once you committed a choice that you found with or without the binoculars and it ended up being wrong - plus the cases where the binolculars never returned acceptable results (which I find odd since the standard videos scraper did).
