Foxtel/Leadtek DTV2000H not working (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

This is my first post, having just gotten involved with TV cards and cable TV. I am real noob. Please have patience.

I have a leadtek DTV2000H, connected to my foxtel set to box via s-video to component cable, and stereo analog sound cable.

I can't get it to work at all. I have Windows Vista Ultimate, P4 3.2ghz, 2gb RAMN, nVidia 8600gts video card, gigabyte motherboard.

Using Media Portal 1 RC3, just downloaded last night.

Media portal doesn;t show "My TV" everything else seems to be there.
When in TV server I can get a few CVBS(?) channel but can't seem to link them to my card.

Had a read of the documentation on line but it refers to options that are not on my copy of the software, for example, adding and editing cards, and linking channels to my card.

There are also several sections missing from the online documentation. Options in the configuration for both TV server and media portal have no correcpsonding documentation.

I have no idea of what I am doing. Is there a complete set of documentation around that I can use to try and get this working?

Has anyone in Australia got this working at all?

Try disabling the digital component of the card and only use the analogue.
