framerate dropping when not focused (1 Viewer)

I am using dualview system where LG 17"(60 Hz) is primary and TV(60Hz) is secondary display. I have configured MP to start on the secondary display using the spinsafe 1080 skin which has scrolling texts and fading images. When MP is not focused the framerate drops and all the "cool stuff" starts to twitch. I mean all that fading and scrolling. Videos and tv seems to work properly.

What could be the reason for this? Anyone encountered similar issue.

Would think it's directx based, as not in focus removed hardware acceleration from video.

This is just weird and annoying. Everything works smooth, but for example when I'm working on the primary screen(focusing another window), all the transitions and scrolling comes twitchy.

Its done on purpose, MP reduces the rendering speed when it loses focus so that other applications wouldnt slow down.

(Sorry for bumping up such an old thread, but I thought it would be better then to start a new one. I've searched my *** off trying to find a solution and/or better thread to post in)

Is there any way to disable this? I want to use firefox etc on the computer monitor and mediaportal running at the same time on my tv.

At this time, it works fine when viewing movies but not in the menus because of this feature. It's a great feature for some, but I personally would like to disable or at least up the frame rate to a 20-30 minimum.

If this can be done only by downloading the source and modifying it, could you please tell me where in the source to do this? I guess I can manage the building of the source by reading/googling my self.

Yes, it can be currently done only by modifying code. Following sleep should be responsible for the rendering slow down when no focus is on MediaPortal.
