My internet provider supplies a modem called Freebox.
It permits to get a lot of channels over the LAN with a RSTP server (video is MPEG2).
Up to now the only players able to view channels are VLC and mplayer.

Is it possible that MP client considers this server as a "virtual tv card" and allows to use it with classic features (view, timeshift, record...) ?

thanks

OK
now TV server is realised.

But how do you configure rstp streams in the server configuration ?

I still use version .2.1 so I have no clue on how to do that but it's most likely to be configured
through the client and not the server.
Nevertheless I sincerely doubt it will work at this stage of development.
The TV server you can download is still an early beta version and it appears that trying to connect to other RTSP sources is not feasible (yet).
