Hi I cannot get my Freecom usb stick to work ??
I've added this to the capture card definitions but it still does not seem to find it
<capturecard commercialname="Freecom USB 2.0 DVB-T Device" capturename="REALTEK 2831U_BDA Filter" devid="Vid_14aa&Pid_0160">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"></capabilities>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"></interface>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"></filter>
<filter cat="tunerdevice" name="Digital-TV Receiver" checkdevice="true"></filter>
<filter cat="capture" name="Digital-TV Device Capture" checkdevice="true"></filter>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"></connection>
<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"></connection>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

My card shows in the Device manager as
Freecom USB 2.0 DVB-T Device
The Driver is
REALTEK 2831U_BDA Filter
Device instance id is
USB\VID_14AA&PID_0160\0000000000024031
Hardware ids are
USB\Vid_14aa&Pid_0160&Rev_0100
USB\Vid_14aa&Pid_0160

I have also attached the zip log files generated by MPTestTool2

Whats going wrong ?

Thanks Martin

    This might not be helpful, but any DVB-card w/BDA drivers should work with TVEv3, so you might wanna give it a shot.
