I have always had problems with MP and resume after the night (long standby). I can always kill MP and TVserver and get a working setup again.

Lately I have tried to collect some information and I seem to see two things in my logs that might be interesting:

1. I often see things like this in the logs. Also in Powereventhandler, causing Powereventhandler not to run the resume script.

2008-08-04 06:21:19.343750 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: WM_POWERBROADCAST: 6
2008-08-04 06:21:19.343750 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: Windows has resumed from critical hibernate mode
2008-08-04 06:21:19.359375 [Debug][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - set lock for syncronous inits
2008-08-04 06:21:19.375000 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - OnResume called but !_suspended
2008-08-04 06:21:19.375000 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: WM_POWERBROADCAST: 18
2008-08-04 06:21:19.375000 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: Windows has resumed from standby or hibernate mode to handle a requested event
2008-08-04 06:21:19.375000 [Debug][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - set lock for syncronous inits
2008-08-04 06:21:19.375000 [Info.][MPMain]: Main: OnResume - OnResume called but !_suspended

Why is that? How can I fix it?

2. MP often if not always freezes. I have collected three logs in which the last lines are:

Why? Is this a MP problem or something in my hardware?

All help is greatly appriciated!

ps. I just noticed I managed to post this in the wrong area but are unable to remove or move the thread.

I have done lots of more testing and have these findings thus far:

1. I had checked the "force the system to Suspend" option in MP/TV-service. It seems to be the reason I got my "Critical hibernation" errors. I have now unchecked that and this far it seems to be working.

2. I am still having problems with the restart of the MP/TV-service. This I now believe is due to my wireless card not being fully ready until a few seconds after resume. In the test script I am using I have added a "Wait 2 seconds before starting the TV-service and MP" and that seemed to work this morning.
