Fresh 1.2 Beta Setup 2 Questions (2 Viewers)

Alright I am about to do a fresh install with 1.2 Beta.

Im starting with a fresh install of Win 7.

I have SAF 6 unlocked
Streamed MP Skin
IRSS

which is all my normal things I need and then once I get that working ill add in other plugins.

I have 2 questions / concerns

I have been reading that 2 monitors will mess up my playback. I have a 60in Rear Projection and the HTPC wont even show up on the screen if I dont have a second monitor hooked to it though. How I have it setup is that the small screen 19in is used at startup to boot and what not and when it gets to the login screen it turns off the small screen and switches to the Rear Projection. Will this still cause me issues or since I am not displaying something on both screens at the same time im ok?

2nd Codec setup In MP video settings what codecs should I set in which places to get the best playback? I dont use TV-server thing I just play videos off my Hard Drives. I have mostly MKVs for shows some bluray rips but I do have some of the other types as well. Again I am going to use SAF 6.0 Unlocked.

The problem with dual screens should not be there for you anymore, as it was based on XP not supporting gfx acceleration on the 2nd monitor. So just go ahead and enable the dual screen config.

why do you want to use SAF? I would initiually try the MS Codec, as most people have excellent results with it.

... I dont know they seemed like a good choice lol.... To use the MS codecs do you have to install anything extra or do you just select all the MS codecs in Video and TV settings? Which audio decoder do you choose?

I had alot of streaming problems with MS codecs. But when i installed SAF6, it all just worked (mainly .flv files, and sorted codec problems with a movie). I think im gonna stick with that one for awhile.
