hello,

since no one could tell me why my last install wouldn't record I decided to start over with a fresh install - and since no-one has been able to tell me how to get the "stable" version to set up either database I tried reinstalling the RC1 again. Getting TV-server up and running and my channels scanned mapped and combined seemed to go much smoother this time. However, when I tried to open Mediaportal to view the epg and see how things went - I have no epg and mytv balks looking for MSsql which is kind of bazaar as the setup routine installed MYsql - anyway to change this in mediaportal as its hard to open ports for program that is not installed.

logs attached below.

It sure would be nice to get a reply to question that includes a solution.
