I came home tonight and turned on MP to watch a little TV. At startup, got a "select TV service" or similar message (sorry to be vague) which I've sometimes seen in the past and which experience has told me is best solved by a quick MP reinstall. I first ran backupsettings to get a clean export of my settings, and then reinstalled the last MP version which has been running reliably for months; SVN1.0.4.23491.
After reinstalling, I first ran MP extension installer to reload backupsettings. No luck, the list of extensions was empty and the online update didnt work. Weird, but I have a local copy of backupsettings so installed from that. Then I went into TV config, and imported my data from backupsettings. A few seconds into this I got a long error messag as detailed in the logs attached. This seems to be the pertinant part of the log:
"at SetupTv.Sections.BackupSettingsSetup.Importxmlfile(String filename)MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Table 'history' is marked as crashed and should be repaired."
So, I have my settings backed up but can't seem to load them. Some settings have been kept by MP but in any case, the TV is not wokring. It freezes when I select a channel.
Anyone got any ideas what to do next to recover my system?
