full dvb-c channel scan? (1 Viewer)

i searched and searched but couldnt find this

so i bought a dvb-c card and meedio went down the drain with yahoo buyout, and now i need to fix this thing with meedio

i used some random channel scans and got 3 channels to show (out of 10+ i should see)

so my question is, how do i perform a full scan?

or optionally, if someone can interpret this file to be usable with MP somehow (its for my cable provider, using the technotrend software, which finds all the channels and epg)

ok, a followup question

since im new to dvb tv in general, does dvb-c in MP use the broadcast info system to get info from the dvb-network (NIT)?

or do i have to know the frequencies for each channel?

edit: i made my own .dvbc file and added my cable providers NIT frequencies, modulations and symbolrates and it only found 4 channels (out of 15 unlocked channels i should get)

MP only finds 64QAM mux's, dunno if its about MP or about my card?

seems to be technotrends BDA drivers fault

it can only do QAM64
