Unfortunately as I could see now MediaPortal can't provide support for UTF-8
(and as well other "non iso-8859-1" :wink: based encodings like windows-1251 ). As it's stands now MediaPortal could display texts in this encodings in some places where standard Windows fonts used instead of generated "skins" fonts. So far in existing versions of MediaPortal I was unable to find the way to add this support...
