Fullscreen lost when turning TV on/off (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I just bought a new TV, Philips PFL5007 and have some issues. If i start MP with the TV turned on, every thing works fine. My problem is that during the night i turn off the TV and when turning it back on MP is shown as a smaller square, not a fullscreen 16:9.

Pressing Shift+Alt+Enter twice resolves the problem, but its kind of annoying. Isn't there a way to get MP go into fullscreen no matter what?

Do you have a receiver in between? How is the PC connected to the TV?
If you're using HDMI, then you've probably run into a HDMI handshake issue. The team is currently working on a solution for this.
Not sure if you're putting the PC to sleep at night, but if so, you could try to set the option (MP config -> General -> Startup/Resume Settings) to restart MediaPortal on resume.

From my ATI card the HDMI goes directly to the TV, no receiver. The HTPC is not sleeping at nignt, always on (shame on me!).
So you think there will be a solution for the handshake at some time?
